IKEA sink – The country style sink or heat sink is usually characterized by a porcelain container exposed in the front view as opposed to a sink style drop in. It often has flat sides so the overall shape resembles a square box with an open top. The Domsjo washbasin from IKEA has exactly this shape and is therefore ideal for a rustic bathroom in a country house style. The Domsjo is ideal for combination with IKEA’s own bathroom worktop systems. However, it can be easily integrated into a wide variety of bathroom configurations.
Tighten the screws in the lower corners of the side panels included in the factum cabinet kit. Insert the supplied screws through the brackets in the upper corners of the side panels. Mount the pins in the holes provided for them on the two sides of the lower part and then insert the lower part of the box along with the two side parts. Screw the metal supports to the side panels of the case using domsjo.
Put the cabinet in its place wherever you want your sink. Attach it to adjacent cabinets with the 1/4-inch screws provided. Use a vise to hold the edges of the cabinets together as you insert them. Additional L-shaped screw brackets at the rear corners of the cabin provide additional stability and secure the entire part to the wall. Set your countertop pieces on each side of the newly made box, if desired, to cover the areas on each side of the sink. Set the sink and use silicone sealant in the line between the sink and countertop.
