Tufted bedroom bench – A bench is a decorative comfort that can act as an extra seat in your bedroom. Make a tufted fabric bedroom bench that matches the overall design of the room. The most common use of an accent on a bedroom bench is at the end of the bed. But does not have to extend the width of the bed. You have the cut wood that is tailored for you when you purchase it to save the time and the dirty work of cutting.
Measure and mark the plate 2 inches every 3 inches along its length and width. The markings are where the seat will be tufted; Adjust the measurements if you prefer a different distance between the strands. Cover each hole on the stained side of the bench with a strip of duct tape. Cut off part of the upholstery foam so that it fits on top of the bench.
Cut a piece of fabric and batting so they sit on the top, sides, and 4 inches at the bottom of the bench. Wrap the batting over the top of the seat and secure it at the bottom with a stapler. Wrap the fabric over the batting and secure it in the same way. Tighten the upholstery needle and thread the tape through one of the holes in the bench through the fabric. Fasten the 1/4 inch wooden board with screws on the bench, on the tape and the knotted threads. Attach the four decorative legs to each corner of the bedroom bench with screws and a small support L.
